Event entity reminders

Could someone help me with how to assign reminders to a start date instead of an end date for a new event type entity? Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Thomas,
I've checked it and noticed that in a custom Event type entity the reminders by default is triggering by a 'Date Start'. Probably you meant to link the reminders to a 'Date End' parameter?

For some reason, I found that you assign the reminder to the closing date. Does placing a reminder field in the Layout Manager matter? I mean which date field is next to or below the reminder field.

No, this logic is defined on the code layer.
Please provide the next information:
1. What EspoCRM version do you use?
2. Do you have any code customization that might affect the default logic?

I checked the reminder to work and will actually send the reminder based on the start date. I looked at the dates. Thanks for your help. Thomas
