Since version 6.0.0., EspoCRM will support TLS protocols for IMAP accounts. TLS is an updated and more secure version SSL protocol. It uses newer, more modern and secure algorithms to encrypt data. The protocol provides a considerably higher level of communication security which is actually super important when it comes to business data privacy and integrity, I think.
You will be able to set the TLS protocol in the IMAP section of your personal email accounts and group email accounts settings.
