Updating user permission to edit

Hello

I've been having issues with our CRM users not filling required data. This is because they use the little pen button that allows you to edit a specific field instead of clicking the Edit button at the top of the account (seen in the attached screenshot).

Is there a way to turn off or hide the field edit button for users so they are forced to use the Edit button at the top?

Hello Camille, You can disable "Inline Edit" at the field level in Entity Manager. Open up your Administrator Panel and then go to Entity Manager. Select the Entity that you want to disable and then select the field(s) that you want to disable "Inline Edit". I have attached a graphic that shows exactly where to do this.
