Create Fields of type Email and Phone

Hi,

I have a custom entity of type Base. I want to add an email of type Email or Phone. It doesn't show up in the list of possible field types.

Is this only possible with en Entity of base type Person?

If so, can I recreate my Entity to a Person without having to redo the whole data model?
