Schedule import

Hello, I developed an application that recognizes - sort - split and extrapolate data from a PDF, take the PDF read the value found in the specific x-y-w-h coordinates of the and work it up to extrapolate the data in a text file that through a plugin save the latter in a DB of my document
system.
Can I schedule a process that uses the espocrm importer on a specific path to upload the file and import the data into a custom entity?
