A question about leads

I'm blown away by EspoCRM it's incredible!

I need a bit of help understanding how leads work.

When a lead is converted, surely it should disappear from the leads list right? Yet after conversion the lead still remains in the leads list.

I'm getting the impression that a converted lead seems to create an entirely new record rather than flag the existing one as "no longer a lead"

I'd love some input/advice on this.

Hi there,
This is how the system works. If you don't want to see 'converted' or 'dead' Lead in the list, you can utilize a standard filter to hide it (see screenshot).
