upgrade from 5.6.x to 5.9.x

Hi,

my current version is 5.6.2 and i want this upgrade to 5.9.2.

To do that do will I able to install 5.9.2 or do I need to follow upgrade version flow ? Please advice.

just backup your crm files & database then try to go over these updates from here ,
if you have console access will better to Upgrade from CLI.

If you made changes to the core files they will lost, then you need to manage the code using custom git repository.
