Show the ID number in a field

I would to know if there's a possibility to set a custom field to show the ID number of the record?

create a readOnly field type VarChar..
and make with formula : customReadOnlyField=id;

but id don't exit on new record.. the solution is on afterSave Hook

Go to : Administration > Entity Manager > your entity > Formula

Add this:

anyVarcharField = entity\attribute('id');
