  • Email sync and IMAP

    Not sure if I need to tick something when setting up a personal email or not. I need the inbox to sync with my IMAP account across all email clients - i.e. the inbox is the same with all clients/viewers. Also is there a way to speed up how often it syncs as it seems to be a longtime at present. Cron jobs are set up and running OK. Many thanks in advance

    Hello,
    On the EspoCRM side, each user has its own (only one) Inbox folder. Despite how many email accounts will be linked to a single user, all fetched emails by default will be stored in Inbox. If you want to change this, you need to select another custom folder in the 'Put In Folder' parameter in the email account settings.
    Email sync is running by a CRON job. To check its schedule or even change it you need to open Administration -> Scheduled Jobs -> Check Personal Email Accounts.
