    Error 500

    Hello,

    We have encountered an Error 500 after the last upgrade to last version. We have set PHP version to 7.2 and it works for a while then after a period (1-2 days) it gives an Error 500. The workaround is to set PHP version to 7.3, but again it works for a couple of days and the workaround is to set back to 7.2. And we keep doing this but the error does not go away.

    Do you have any solutions for this situation?

    Can you tell us more about your instance?
    First tell us what you see in logs.
    You can find logs in /data/logs/

      With EspoCRM I haven't run into any error 500 Error yet, with other CRM I did, usually to do with file permission or low setting in your PHP. Aside from the log emilod mention, see if there any error in your cPanel or Apache error.

      Also try using php 7.1 maybe, see if that help. And rebuild file in Administration setting.

        Hello Cris,
        the latest EspoCRM version should work w/o problems on PHP v7.1., 7.2 and 7.3 as well. Could you provide the EspoCRM error log file with this error description from the /data/logs/ directory as emillod suggested?

                The CRON jobs are using the PHP CLI that is not the same as a web server PHP. EspoCRM supports PHP 7.1, 7.2, and 7.3 as well on the webserver level. For the CLI we suggest you to use PHP v.7.2.
                To check the webserver PHP version you can in Administration -> System Requirements.
                To check the CLI PHP version you can by running this command in the terminal
                Code:
                php -v
                Also, please make sure that IMAP settings are OK by making a test connection.

                  Thanks for the reply. We made the updates for the IMAP and made a test connection with success. Regarding PHP version it says 7.2.22 in System Requirements and in our CPanel it says 7.2.

                      What did you do to generate an error 500?
                      The records in the CPanel's log are bothering me. EspoCRM doesn't have such files, so if it not your requests, please write to your customer support.

                        It seems that Espo gives the same errors in the logs:

                          The Error 403 is an access error that means you do not have permission to this data. The last record is just a warning. I don't think that this is a problem, that's why I need to know what did you do to make the error 500 appear. Also, could you provide the screenshots with the error? Also, if the EspoCRM log file has other records then we want to check it. Perhaps there is something else. All this information should help us to understand what a functionality causes the error 500 and give you tips of how to fix it.
