  • Mail template HTML and TXT compatibility

We have email templates prepared in HTML format, but some mail clients or systems read only TXT version. In such case our templates are unreadable and ugly.
How to prepare the same template to be nice looking for TXT and HTML compatible email clients?

Probably not the place to ask this question, there probably much better place for these resources. I suppose the only way is to keep is simple so that in case where HTML cannot be full view it is still readable.

Another way is to send PDF, it is the default format that is quite 'standard' for most people to view.

Text only is quite rare unless they purposely change the setting to view that.

With so many different smartphones and tablets, it’s important to be able to display our company’s emails in the way that the mobile browser is best suited. Some mobile browsers will show email in its full HTML form. Others will default to just plain text. Different CRM or another systems react unpredictable.

How to know which version to send to each recipient? The solution to this problem is to craft an email which has two parts: one that displays complete graphics and the other made up of nothing more than conventional text, with no images and colors.

There are a solution for that https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIME and it helps to send the same message compatible with all type of clients and all clients got a readable e-mails for them.

    Hello Partomas,
did you input your HTML code into the email template 'code view (</>)' field?

Yes, for sure we use 'code view (</>)' field to paste the source code of template. There are graphic editor, but for for more complicated HTML structures it's not so easy to use and edit.

Ideal solution would be something similar like https://group-mail.com/html-email/ho...nd-plain-text/ to have posibility to enter HTML and Plain Text Message Part separatly.
