Shows error while configuring mails. Please help me to resolve the issue. Error message is shown below. cannot connect to host ; error = fsockopen(): unable to connect to ssl://imap.gmail.com:993 (php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known)

Hi,
have you enabled IMAP connection in the Gmail settings?

Both POP and IMAP is enabled. still issue exists. Please help.

Check whether you have enabled:
1. Less secure applications https://www.dev2qa.com/how-do-i-enable-less-secure-apps-on-gmail/.
2. IMAP (https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ta...ings/fwdandpop).

Do you have any firewall that restricts this connection?
Could you provide screenshot with your IMAP configs?

Thank you so much for the reply..It works now. I think some firewall was restricting the connection.
