    Espo-Newbie: How to email?

    Hello,

so we've gotten back into using Espo and added a few accounts, contacts and whatnot.
Now we're mostly catering to end customers, so we don't need the CRM for that - we got all their info in our own data base. But as we slowly talk to more B2B partners, marketing affiliates and others, we want to have some tighter control and overview of them.

The vast majority of our email communication does not concern or involve these partners. But I'd still like to be able to keep track of key conversations and agreements with them.

Is there a way I could forward an email to Espo and it would auto-attach to a specific account/contact/lead/whatever based on some criteria? Like, I would send a message to the partner and bcc Espo - would that end up in Espo? And which address would I need to send it to in the first place?

Hoping for some guidance or pointers! Thank you!

    Hello,
If the emails from your affiliates/customers are in the email box (Google, Outlook, etc.) you can fetch them into EspoCRM by configuring IMAP in the Personal or Group Email Accounts https://www.espocrm.com/documentatio...-imap-accounts.
If the fetched email was sent to you by your client (contact) it will be automaticly linked to this contact via a parent field (Note: an email address should be defined in the conatct's record).
If this contact is linked to an account, the fetched email will be linked to this account instead of the contact.
