Disable Probability Change with Stage Change

We have never had any probability percentages set up with our stages. We put an arbitrary percentage in at the beginning of our bidding process and never change it. Recently (possibly with the upgrade to 5.6) we have started having some issues. When we change the stage is resets the probability to none when we try to update and then we get an error because this a required field. Any idea on how to fix?

Hello,
in the Opportunity entity, the stage changing always changed the probability value. Go to Administration -> Entity Manager -> Opportunity (fields) -> stage. Check what's the Stage Probabilities (%) parameters are set.
