eMails to Trash or folder?

Hello,
we move all eMails to trash for archive the eMails.
I would like to know if the trash can is deleted from the CRM?
we move all emails to the trash if we want to keep the email.
We want to keep all e-mails in the trash.
Now I ask myself if the trash can be deleted automatically to save storage space or if the cache is deleted?
Or do I have to move the e-mails to a folder so that they don't get lost?

our team is planning to add auto clean email trash ability in the nearest future, so I don't recommend you to store emails in the trash.

It would be nice if the folders could be selected directly to archive the emails.
At the moment you have to click several times to put an email into a folder. That is unnecessary...
