Custom fields to companys

after you had created a new field you should add it in the Layout Manager. Here is helpful information:

Hello everybody,

I am new, too. Brand new. Also with EspoCRM. So far I have had Opengoo / Fengoffice.
I liked EspoCRM very well - but now I realize that I am already failing in simple things.
I would like to add a few more input fields to company entries. For example, a value of how many Facebook fans a company has.
Or if the company offers newsletters.

Well, I tried that with you
Administration »Entity Manager» Company »Fields
But my fields, which I additionally created are not displayed when entering the company data

What am I doing wrong?

Is there somewhere a documentation for something?
