  • DateTime Placeholder Not Displaying Time in Email Templates

    Hello,

I have a workflow to send emails out to specific leads using a template that has a {Lead.appointment} DateTime placeholder. Only the "Date" field is shown in the corresponding email once it is sent out. (Example: Your scheduled appointment is on 09/18/2018) does not include the time.

    Hi,

Could you try to compose an email from Lead detail view and then select your email template. Please check whether the time part is included.

      Hi,

Just tried from Lead detail view, and it is the same.

I'm currently on 5.3.6. Was this addressed in the 5.4.x update?

Yes, "Appointment Date" is a Date-Time Field.

Weird. I can't reproduce. Is the displayed value is proper on the detail view?

Yes. It is correct on lead detail view. I'll be upgrading to 5.4.x this evening, maybe that will resolve. I've also tried re-adding the field as well as creating a completely new email template. Just to confirm, you're saying that reproducing my use case works as intended?

When I compose email and select template the date-time field is inserted with a time part.
