Layout of Email

Hello,
I have to qustion about the layout of emails:

1) I'm looking for a possibility to change the layout of the email entity (form and listview).
2) Also the feeling of the list is not consistent with the lists of other entities - especially the user can't sort the list by clicking in the Header line. What have I do to give my users this possibility?

Can anyone help me?
