How does "Last Stage" function work?

Hi,

In most cases when I set my opportunity stage as Win/Lost than my 'last state' is empty. It doesn't matter what original last state was. Only in few cases 'last state' is remained.
How does it work?

last stage field can be used for statistics in dashlets or in reports

Did you set correct Stage Probabilities (%) in Stage field in Entity Manager?

What does it mean "correct Stage Probabilities"? Each of them has it's own, unique value and I assume they are correct

If you set unique values for all stages, it has to work correct.
Could you share with me screenshots with the problem and the file custom/Espo/Custom/Resources/metadata/entityDefs/Opportunity.json?
