tracking workflow emails

Hello. I have a series of e-mails being sent to the customers who have downloaded a trial version of our product. This is run via a workflow, triggered by the user's signup (i.e. this is not a mass email, it's sent to each customer individually). How can I add tracking pixels to such emails to see if they were opened?
