How the email was composed? From which place?

      Another test.

I answered 1x by Apple Mail
and I answered 1x directly from Google's interface

Unfortunately, both email replies are still assigned to contact only in the EspoCRM, not the case.

In Google Mail check Message-id header of the email sent from EspoCRM and received by Google.

If could be that sendinblue SMTP server overrides message-id header.

We track all emails with SendInBlue.com, but it could be that SendInblue filters everything, I'll see if I can find a shot for it.

                Message-Id: <e7707292-85cb-43a0-96a4-22e06f46a744@smtp-relay.sendinblue.com>
                Origin-messageId: <Case/5b35258973a3ff7db/1530267777/4405@espo>

Message-Id is overridden. Original one is copied to another header. It's not a good practice. Origin-messageId is not a standard header, we can't rely on it.

Email import will work improperly in EspoCRM if message-id will be lost upon sending.

Thats it!!! The problem is solved!

                      SendinBlue.coms-SMTP deletes all Messade-ID information.
All received emails without SendInBlue are 100% assigned to the cases. It works fine!

                      Many thanks for your help!

Would you still have a tip why internal emails appear twice on Inbox?

I believe emails won'be duplicated after you fix the issue with message id.
