  • Advice / idea on using EspoCRM to manage job applicants

    Hi,
    Trying to assess how good ESpoCRM could be used to manage job applicants,
    in addition to managing some business developments.

    Option 1:
    - create team(s) and role(s) associated to HR/recruitment
    - job applicants are contacts like any other, but belonging in those team(s)
    - maybe a new entity "job offer" is needed to link candidates to one job offer?

    Option 2:
    - create a new entity: applicants?
    - adjust the rights/visibility for HR/recruitment teams and role with respect to that entity?
    - maybe a new entity "job offer" is needed to link candidates to one job offer?

    Would a "type" field be useful for Contacts? applicant / bisdevcontact / ...

    Any thought welcome,

    I have started some test with
    - new entity: Candidate, type Person
    - new entity: Vacancy, type Base+

    Building links between them, etc.

        In fact, I ended up adding a custom entity called Application, that is the link between Candidates and Vacancy. The reason is that what is processed is the application to a particular vacancy (with letter, etc and its own evaluation) more than candidate, in a way.
