Make field link to item

Hi there!

I'm not really sure if this is a developer question or just a configuration but I want to show different fields in a list and make one of the values a link to the item.
Let's say usually this is the "name" field but I want to create a custom field and make this the link like "name".
How can I do that?

Administration > Layout Manager > Your Entity > List or List (Small) > Next to needed field pencil icont > check Link box
