  • Need help setting up outgoing email

    Brand new to Espo. This is really a nice and easy system to install and set up.

    I'm the admin. I'm also the only user. All I want to do is send out emails. I do not want to fetch email.... just send. There seem to be several places to set up outgoing email. Can anyone give me a quick (1,2,3...) bunch of steps to follow in order to for me to send email to an account or a lead and have it kept by the system. Thank you.

    Hello,



    Administration > Outbound Emails > Set you SMTP credentials, check with Sent Test Email button. If everything is ok, If yes, check the box Is Shared, Save.
    Now you can send emails to accounts, contacts, leads, and users.

      I love this system... it all makes sense and nothing is broken (to my knowledge!)
