Proper disposition of email

Would like to read an email in my inbox, assign it to an account/opportunity/case/lead, then delete it from the inbox while retaining it in the account/opportunity/case/lead. Otherwise, I'll have an Inbox with a ton of read emails which are there only for archive purposes. I've tested it and can see that the email is deleted from both the Inbox as well as the assigned account/opportunity/case/lead. What is the best way to handle this? All help appreciated.

P.S. Great app btw! Getting great use out of it.

You could move emails to other Folder.

Thanks for the reply, Tanya. That's what I've done. I've created an Archived folder where I store them.
