Connecting the calendar

We are in the final steps of choosing our new CRM to replace vTiger, and Espo is my favorite.

But there is one thing my company really needs.

We would also like to use external calendar software, especially the Apple Calendar on our Macs, Outlook on Windows (less important) and on smartphones (Android and iOS).

Is the only possibility that we use Google Calendar as a middleman to connect all those clients? Is there any other kind of connectivity that works directly between our server and our clients?

For now I see only this way. CalDAV is in plan, but not implemented yet
