Convert oppurtunity to case instead of lead

Hello Tanya,

Sorry but Im a bit new with CRM. Was wondering about the functionality convert "lead" to opportunity, account etc.

Is it possible to somehow convert "opportunity" or any other entity to "case"? I've looked around a bit and cant find any where I can customize this. Is this possible and do I need to do any coding?

Hi,

Tanya is out of touch for a few days.

You will need coding. Also you can utilize Workflows. Available in advanced pack. But there won't be a convert form. Data will be carried over from Lead to Case once certain condition met, e.g. when status is changed and bacame 'Converted'.
