Reports for Opportunities with no tasks

Hi, I am trying to write a report that lists all active Opportunities that don't have an active task associated with them.

The idea being that if the opportunity is open, then something should be going on, and the task reflects that.

The actual requirement is slightly more complex "active Opportunities that don't have (active task or active call or active meeting)". If you can point me in the right direction on the first item, I am sure I will get the rest done.
