    Role > Portal Permission Malfunction?

Has anyone tested the Portal Permission? Does not seem to work. I have created non admin user and set the role Portal Permission as Yes. I have created a dummy user, log out as admin, log in the non admin user which already set the Portal Permission as Yes, I can't convert it the contact as Portal user.

    Espo CRM 4.7.2, Windows

    Hey acecombat2,

Are you using your created portal URL instead of the main CRM login?

      Hi,

I belive it's a mistake in the tooltip text. Only admin can create portal userse.
If you find EspoCRM good, we would greatly appreciate if you could give the project a star on GitHub. We believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.

yurikuzn, I guess there is no point leaving the Portal Permission in Role Tab does it? Since there is function to set as admin in user tab.

bradaks I tried both the main website and the portal. I think that Portal Permission function is useless if is not malfunctioning.

Unless there is the reason that I do not know of what yurikuzn had in mind.

From the tooltip text: "...post messages to portal users". When regular user posts to streams of portal users.
