Report on date field

I want to to generate a report to show all of the contacts according to a specific date field, however I do not care about the year. (think anniversary)

In the options for report, I can't seem to configure it generate only on date.

Example, Date field = 04/25/1995, I want it to generate a report for 04/25 regardless of the year.

Which type of report do you need, grid or list?

The first way is develop own report. The are few topics on forum, how to do this.
The second way is create new field in Entity Manager and set these fields with Formula. But these fields will be set only while creation and modification of record.
