Can I limit the access to contacts?

hi there,

there is one contact list I want to share with several external persons as it is for a joint project. We need to mass email the contacts and to update it. So I would use a group email.
But - the other persons should only be able to see contacts from this list. Not our full database.

Is this possible with EspoCRM?

Thanks. I am aware of the role management. The question is, can I design the user roles in such a way to fit my scenario? The description seems to be more general.
