Lookup Value Question

I have separate entities for Activity, Accounts, and Contacts. Contacts have a many-to-one link from Accounts (ie one Account can house many individual Contacts)

I now want to create an Activity for a Contact. My desire is to have the Account to automatically populate on the Activity entity based on the Contact selected. Ultimately I will want to be able to report on Activity by Accounts.

I feel like this should be a relatively easy option - any ideas? I am new at this, so be gentle
