Does Espo's email client ultimately delete emails from server?

When I remove emails within Espo email client, the emails are not shown anymore in the inbox.

But they still remain on the server and are visible and accessible via outlook and other email clients.

Does Espo not delete emails ultimately from the server?

no, Espo doesn't delete emails from the server.

Hi,

neither deletion from server, nor deletion from database.

Deleted emails are still located in the database marked as "deleted" with value "1" and comsuming space.

To get rid of the deleted emails and keep a clean database I have to manually delete emails in the database. Correct?
