Import: how to get salutation (Anrede) and autoset field

again a question about import:

The CVS to import has a field with the salutation (Anrede). We set it to Herr or Frau. I noticed that during the import choosing the field Anrede, the salutation in the name field is not set. I also tried Betreff (the field Espo stores the name under) with the same result.

It seems that I get it to work with update. Then it shows me Herr Max Muster, but when I open the name I still see the salutation field empty.

What do I have to do to get this right as it is crucial for all emails.

Then I want to ask how I can set an Auto value based on a field. I want the custom field "email salutation set to the right value depending on the salutation Herr or Frau.

Hi,

For now it's not implemented.

You can open your CSV in some editor like MS Excel and try to replace all "Herr" to "Mr," and so on.
