    Sending from Multiple Email Accounts

My apologies if this has been asked (and answered) already: Is it by design that I can have unlimited personal SMTP accounts but I can send only via the gobal one (if allowed) and the one defined in my user settings? And if this is the case: Why do I have multiple smtp accounts available then? Or did I miss something?

You can specify SMTP credentials in Personal Email Accounts. If personal email account has the same email address as one of user's email address then SMTP credentials will be used from Personal Email Account when you send from that email address.
If you find EspoCRM good, we would greatly appreciate if you could give the project a star on GitHub. We believe our work truly deserves more recognition. Thanks.

      Thanks, got it.

And for all the others who will have this problem sooner or later: In order to send emails from more than one personal account It is NOT enough to add another personal account like you would do for IMAP. You also have to add a SECOND (or third...) email adress to your user settings. Only then you can choose between email addresses to be sent from. So ONCE for IMAP TWICE for SMTP

And it's not necessary to setup SMTP in preferences anymore.
