Is there a workaround or am I missing something?

We are trying to update our espo with older information of previous activities for the customer. It seems that even if a task or not it dated in the past it will not insert the item into the stream on the correct date. All items are inserted on the current date/time that it is being entered rather than the date time of the actual task or note. This produces a history that is not chronological. Is there a workaround or am I missing something?

you can update date of a stream note
