Question about "Global search: Showing status field in results #3442"

Hi Team,

I waiting this feature "show status field in" but something is new for me :
Global search now list : Entity !

I try on demo.espocrm.com and there too.

Is this by design ? there is ACL ?
As i have no experiment to this feature.. can we disable list some entity or we need to define in role

Hi,

It worked for me today. Maybe there's no entity types with the status field in the search result? Accounts and Contacts do not have such out if the box. Leads do.

Yes on my custom instance, i have many entity with status field and work perfectly.. my "suprised" is list entity

It's a quick search for application features. You need to press enter (or click the icon) to initiate the global search.

Ok, i understand now we can global search for entity too .. and status field appears on ours instance.
So if i understand :

- status field is displayed
- now we can search entity like a click on menu
So this feature contain 2 different feature

Just 2 print-screen of demo.espocrm.com maybe not related..just for let you know

This was a mistake in demo data. The status field for the Contact was set to an unsupported field.
