When you enter Lead data, you can specify a title of the lead. E.g. Sales Manager.
When you try to convert that lead to an account, contact, etc this title is lost unless you assign the to be converted contact to an existing account. The title will then used as account title.
If you create a new account and contact via the convert function from the lead, the title is lost, because the account does not exist yet and you can not select it.
