Editing records directly from the List View

    Hi,

Is there a way to edit or add multiple records directly from the list view?

    Thanks

There's no such a feature. You can quick edit a record with the following shortcut combination: Control + Middle mouse click on a record link, then Control + Space.

That depends on what you need to edit, if you'd like to set specific status for multiple records, then you can do it from list view by using mechanism called mass update. Unfortunately, adding multiple records is not that easy and requires coding. Alternatively, not from list view, if you're logged as an admin, you can import multiple records via import mechanism.

The Ebla Soft team may have something useful for your request

Inline fields editing from list views in espocrm makes editing your fields quicker, easier. With it, you can update fields directly in the list view, without needing to open separate pages for each item. This saves you clicks and time!

          Thanks all for your response.

I am also seeing a setting called "Disable Inline Edit" in the field of an entity. How does this work? Does it mean that there is an inline edit feature? How can I activate this?

          Thanks

If you go to detail view and hover the field with inline edit, there will be a pen icon to edit the field. You can disable that type of modification (inline) via field settings in Entity Manager. It's not related to list view.
