Assigned User not automatically set to Creator when adding new Account

Thank you! I needed a global fix for all users. But the information in your screenshot with "unless the field is required" solved it for me i just set the field on required and its autofilled for everyone.

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue in EspoCRM when creating a new Account (Company).
The Assigned User field is not automatically set to the user who created the record. Instead, I have to manually select the user each time.

In the field settings, I can only define a fixed user as the default value, but unfortunately, there is no option to set it dynamically to the current user.

Is there a way to configure EspoCRM so that the Assigned User is automatically set to the creator of the record? Maybe through a formula, workflow, or a customization?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
