Creator gets SMS messages for every target in a target list when mass sending sms

Everytime we mass send an sms message to a target list, the creator of the target list gets a text message for each hit on that list. If there are 3 people on a list, the creator of the target list gets 3 individual sms messages. I don't want the creator to get sms messages when we mass send anything. How can I fix this?
