Connect Clients-Companies as Hierachy

hey there,

I have several customers who are themselves a larger structure. For example, a management company with 10 companies among them. We supply the 10 subcontractors, but all contracts are with the top company.

What is the best way to represent this? So far, all 11 companies involved have simply been created, but we would like to see a reference to the management company on the subcontractor entries.

You can create a Many-to-One relationship from Account entity to Account entity to reflect the parent company relationship. More about relationships you can find here: https://docs.espocrm.com/administrat...#relationships.

Thank you very much. The editor feels a bit... unintuitive. I added a One to Many Relationship, Parent on the left side of the editor, child to the right.

Looks right, but needs to be tested in practice. Add the Account Parent field to the layout and try linking the account to another one.
