Lead - Opportunity Amount

If an 'Opportunity amount' is added to a 'Lead' should this show on 'Opportunities' page?

If data is entered into the below field (Opportunity Amount). Should it populate on the Opportunities screen?

"Opportunity Amount" is a field that was populated in a specific Lead entity record (screenshot 1).
After you convert your Lead to Opportunity (screenshots 2 and 3), the value of the "Opportunity Amount" field from the Lead entity will automatically be transferred to the "Amount" field in Opportunity entity (screenshot 4).

After the conversion of Lead and Opportunity has been completed, changes to the "Opportunity Amount" field do not affect the "Amount" field in Opportunity entity. Similarly, changes to the "Amount" field in Opportunity entity do not affect the change in the "Opportunity Amount" field in Lead entity (unless of course you have additionally configured some formulas or workflows, bpmns).

To answer your question: "Opportunity Amount" should not be displayed in Opportunity.
