Filter for Report to limit and only count Available Inventory Numbers

Is there a filter that can be used to show only available inventory numbers in a report? I am trying to come up with a Grid Report that will show the "Available" products with inventory numbers that are not on existing orders at the time of running the report. I have tried creating the report using both Product or Inventory Numbers. The closest I have come is with Inventory numbers and using the count function. The only issue is coming up with a filter to only count the inventory numbers that have an "on hand of greater than zero"

Without the filter it counts all inventory numbers under a product. I just can not figure out how to create a filter to do what i need?

Report without the required filter shows to many with count.....

    Hi jeffreysgrossman,

Could you please clarify in more detail what exactly you are trying to achieve? Do you want to see a list of available products or a list of available inventory numbers? If the latter, what statuses should the inventory numbers have?

      Hello,

I am trying to get a list of Available Inventory Numbers grouped by the product variant they are loaded under. I would like the report to show only Inventory Numbers with a count of 1 or more. We are using the serialized templates and loading serialized inventory numbers per variant with a Quantity of 1 per Inenvtory Number to represent that case. Each case has a unique serial number so the part works perfectly. The main purpose I am trying to achieve is a way to email customers the report with a list of "Available" inventory numbers so Quantity will be 1. Then count each of the Inventory Numbers that have a quantity of 1 or more. That way any that are already on Delivery Orders are not shown in the report as Available. I have tried doing the report with Products and the Available and Onhand Fields. I am not sure why but I can not seem to get the right Varients to align with the inventory when going that rout. (Let me know if that is something I am just doing wrong?) So using the Inventory Numbers for the report I get them grouped correctly on the Product. That seems to aling them to the product template variant.. However I have not been able to figure a filter that would only count and show the ones that have a quantity of 1 or more.. I dont see any Status fields on the Inventory Numbers.. I am not sure of how that would work or not. However a workflow to set it to say unavailable if down to zero? That seems like logic already in the system when dealing with inventory numbers and inventory counts.. I hope this helps. Any info will be very much appreciated.

This report for checking availability of a product from the Delivery Order Screen looks like a report. This seems like what I am trying to get?

        jeffreysgrossman,

So you want the report to show the inventory numbers that are available (more than 1 on hand) and grouped by product name?

That is exactly right.. Is that possible with a report? Is there a filter to use that can achieve this?
