Alternate emails

What would be the proper way to alternate emails between teams in the mass email queue. Currently if Team A adds 1k emails to the queue and Team B adds 1k emails to the queue then all the emails in the queue are sent for Team A then after that has completed it will start sending Team B.

We need to alternate between the teams so that after one email is sent from the queue the next email that is sent is from the alternate team.

One possible solution is to create a custom job that would randomize the mass email queue and run on a schedule but this is not ideal since it doesn’t guarantee alternating.

In the Email Queue Items alternating between campaigns or mass email name would also be sufficient.

Any suggestions or insight would be appreciated.

That's proper behavior because A emails are added to queue, then B emails are added, and we have only one queue
You can think about increasing amount of email sent in an hour - Settings. To customize it you would have to modify already scheduled cron jobs, i don't think it's smart.
