Don't Automatically Fill Up the Collaborators Field when creating a new record

Is it possible to not automatically assigned the current user creating the record to the Collaborators field when creating a new record?

There's no such an ability. Only with coding.

Thanks yuri, I hope this can be considered in the future. The reason is so that I can clearly separate the owner of a record vs the collaborators when extracting data for reports.

I recommend to move the logic to reports instead. The collaborators feature was designed for the specific use-case.
