    Portal Role Update Failed

I followed the steps below to update the Portal user's role, but it is not working. What should I do? The current system version is V9.0.
    • Role A: Has permission to view leads.
    • Role B: Does not have permission to view leads.
    Steps Taken:
    1. Created a portal user and assigned Role A. The user was able to view leads as expected.
    2. Changed the portal user's role to Role B.
    3. Cleared all backend caches.
    4. Rebuilt the backend and cleared caches again.
    5. Issue: The portal user (with Role B) can still view leads.
    Additional Test:

To verify, I set the portal user's role to none (empty). However, the user can still view leads.

What should I do to resolve this?

The issue was resolved: Because the portal has Roles set, if additional portal roles are assigned to specific portal users, the permissions of these roles will be merged with the global role permissions (permissions are not overridden but combined).
