How to build Report to show product available?

I am trying to get a report using advanced pack, that shows the available products (ideally with the ability to show broken out by warehouse with a filter) and lists how many are available. I want to be able to email the report as a sort of menu to the customers. I have tried a grid report to show me this info but I am not quite sure what I am trying to do is possible? Ideally the report would be grouped by category and list each product with a column to show how many are available to sell. Can someone at least let me know if this functionality is possible. I have tried copiolot and so far nothing has worked as expected. Appreciate any assistance.

I am trying to get a report that basically mimics the products page so I can email it easily. That is the real goal. But the reports do not show the same info when I put them together using the product module. Is it possible with reports?

Hello emillod thank you for sharing those. I have watched them and have been able to understand the basics of report building. I guess my questions are deeper in not getting results that I would see on the products page showing up the same way in the report. Specifically with the products when I create a grid report and try and put down available or available in warehouse or on hand or anything that is trying to show the inventory level like it does on the product page it shows zeros? Attached are the results and paramaters on the report that are not providing the expected results.

I am not sure what I would need to do to get the same results I am seeing on the products page for availablel, on hand and reserved?

Just and Update.. I figured out how to achieve what I was trying to do. Wanted to make sure I post the answer in case it helps anyone in the future. For my situation I needed to make the report based on the Inventory Numbers and use the group by on the product and then get the sum and related fields from product thru the Inventory numbers. Once figrued that out I got what I was looking for! Thank you emillod appreciate the response
