pdf Template each and sort of link data

is it pssible to sort the data from a link in a template maybe via an additional index?

I will not change the default sort of the linked table.

I also thought about a SQL view, but don't know how to use this as a relationship.

As far as i remember it's not, but you can think about custom template helper which would generate own table with proper sorting.
PDF is using default sorting.
