  • How do I change the default duration for calls?

    I would like to change the default duration to some thing like 10 minutes but I cannot remember how to do it. I have searched the forums and googled but I am not having any luck.

    It's a user's parameter (Preferences > Default Reminders).

      I see that I can change the default reminder time. But I do not see the ability to set a default duration time. I know I can do it after I schedule a call but the default is 1 day. I would prefer something like 10 minutes so I can schedule multiple calls quickly.

      Is it possible to change the default?

        Administration > Entity Manager > Call > Fields > Duration > Default.

          I have been there and have seen that the default is 5 minutes. I couldn't figure out why it was not working when I scheduled calls.

          I usually use the calendar, in month mode, to schedule calls. I did not realize until today that when I schedule using the calendar the default does not seem to apply. I am sure that you know this but in month mode If I click on a day the duration is for the whole day. In day mode it is 15 minutes. I know I can increase the duration by dragging down but I usually just click and enter information.

          I guess if I have a lot of calls to schedule I should use the Calls tab!

            In Calendar, it sets the duration of a cell. In agenda-view, the duration can be 15m or 30m (depending on preferences). In month, it's all-day.
